Medical Device Safety Service GmbH (MDSS GmbH) is a German professional “Authorized Representative” (EC REP). The Authorized Representative is the main contact for the European Commission and the National Competent Authorities. Serving the In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) and Medical Device (MD) manufacturers worldwide since 1994. This applies for the new European CE marking regulations (MDR and IVDR) and to the current legislations (MDD, IVDD, AIMDD and its national transpositions). In addition, MDSS provides support / services for product registration, product classification, incident reporting, recall management, labelling, to name a few. We consult on quality- / risk management systems and all related services to achieve CE-approval.
