Radwisp, a post-processing software, visualizes the respiration or heartbeat synchronous density changes by analyzing a DICOM file obtained from a low-dose chest X-ray cine imaging.Without using contrast media, the respiratory function and the pulmonary arterial flow are easily evaluated from the density changes in the lung fields. The density changes are calculated as the minute fluctuation of intensity synchronized with respiration or heartbeat using properly frequency-tuned digital filters.
