Techpark@enstek is envisaged to become a world-class technology hub specifically developed to cater primarily for the needs of the clean and non-polluting technological facilities. Most of our tenants are biotechnology driven industries especially in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals sub-sectors. Developed since 2002, our list of tenants includes Getz Pharma Malaysia who has purchased an approximately 15 acres of land for the development of a manufacturing facility for generic drugs. Another tenant is Bio Molecular Industries Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture between Belgium’s Ion Beam Applications (IBA) Pharma SA and Masteel to develop a RM30 Million world class nuclear medicine research production facility.
This facility to produce radio pharmaceutical products such as FDG, FLT, & NAF to be used in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging system duly open its door recently on 1st March 2011. Two other companies in techpark@enstek are involved in the production of haemodylasis products and disposables medical devices. Techpark@enstek is a 700 acres technology park, developed within the eco-conscious integrated township known as Bandar Enstek which is infrastructure-ready with excellent linkages and accessibility. The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the Malaysian global gateway to international and regional market is a mere 15 minutes away.
