Established in 1987, JIWA Group engaged in the research, production and sales of pharmaceutical products with headquarter in Hong Kong, operation base in China. The Group has a leading position in three therapeutic areas: (1) anti-infectious, (2) gastro-intestinal and (3) musculo-skeletal system. Recent years, it also expanded its portfolio to develop another drugs – (1) cerebro-cardiovascular, (2) antidepressant and psychiatric disorders. A 2004 business expansion of its manufacturing base – “Kunming Jida Pharmaceutical” resulted in the building of a new plant at the Kunming National Hi-technology Industry Development Zone. This new complex has a gross floor area of approximately 38,000 sq. meters and 13 GMP production lines for finished dosage forms and APIs. Recently, the Group established and implemented international market development strategies, exporting some products to ASEAN, South Asia and South American countries.
