Sviluppo Lazio is the company of the Region of Lazio – where Rome is located - charged with the task of implementing the region’s economic and territorial agendas, promoting business culture, supporting territorial development programmes and participating in infrastructure investment projects even by fostering partnerships between public and private entities. In order to really contribute to the manufacturing industry, Sviluppo Lazio focuses to promote the internationalization of the regional economic system and attract foreign investors.
A group of enterprises coming from Italy takes part in the Fair to present their production on electromedical equipment, a very specialized sector of Lazio economy that represents 904 companies and 3,493 employees.
Chemical-pharmaceutical sector – including the biomedical and pharmaco-biotechnological sectors – covers 8% of Lazio’s manufacturing industry, a much higher percentage compared to the national rate (6%).
