Medical Innovation Ventures (Mediven™) is a Malaysia-based diagnostics company dedicated to the development of tools that will facilitate early and fast detection of pathogens, genetic disorders, and other diseases. We focus particularly on the infectious diseases that are prevalent in developing countries in Asia, Africa, and South America. We collaborate closely with scientists and researchers from both local and overseas in order to create innovative solutions for medical diagnostic sector.

Fast, Flexible, Convenient and Highly informative are the characteristic features of Mediven™'s proprietary products. Mediven™ also markets and distributes other products and offers custom services for the development of molecular diagnostics and point of care tests.

In 2012, Mediven™ was selected by the Malaysian government as one of the Economic Transformation Programmes (ETP) under the Healthcare National Key Economic Area (NKEA) as part of its Vision 2020 initiative.

In January 2015, Mediven™ has obtained the BioNexus status from the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation (Biotechcorp). BioNexus is a special status awarded to qualified international and Malaysian biotechnology companies. This status is awarded to qualified companies undertaking value-added biotechnology and/or life sciences activities.
